Billy and I decided to finish the demo of some old wood shelving which included removal of all the old screws so we can cut the boards to the appropriate sizes for some new raised bed garden boxes. We made pretty good time between the short window we have between dinner time, story time, and bed time. With any luck we can finish them up on Saturday or maybe Sunday.
Saturday is shaping up to be a pretty full day especially in the morning between our weekly dump run and the Tons of Turkeys 2011 food drive, which we are going to donate to. I figure it’s some type of odd karma seeing the wild turkeys run through the yard yesterday and then hearing about this event on the radio this morning. Plus I think it will be good for my oldest who we are trying to convince that sharing with his younger brother is a good thing…
