So, I caught a sound bite last night on the local new channel about this sock sale once a year held in Vermont…
This little sound bite was enough to get the wheels in my squash grinding. How about a road trip! After all when the wife and I were childless it was nothing to head out on a whim, after all Vermont is just the next state over.
We packed up the kids and the car and headed North. Destination – The Cabot Sock Sale, Cabot Hosiery Mills, 364 Whetstone Drive, Northfield, VT. After a pleasant 2-hour drive each way and $100 dollars later we are fully outfitted with enough socks, of many different types, to last for at least the next year.
